Within the tour, the objectives of the network and its activities and during the field visits of events and influential figures in Lebanese society, a delegation from the International Network For Human Rights Monitoring on 7/11/2017, headed by the Public Relations Officer of the network, Counselor Khaled Al-Sayed visited Sheikh Maher Hamoud at his office in Saida Lebanon.
The network’s delegation discussed the humanitarian situation in Lebanon with the humanitarian and political crises in Lebanon and its repercussions on Lebanese society, as well as its views on the humanitarian situation of the Syrian and Palestinian refugees and the difficulties they face.
The objectives of the network were also clarified and the tasks and activities of the network to promote the human rights march in the world and the priorities of the network in combating violence, extremism, ignorance and poverty, in light of the current situation in the Arab region. and influential figures in Arab societies.
Sheikh Hamoud welcomed the visiting delegation, stressing his interest and keenness on the civil, social and humanitarian peace in Sidon and all Lebanon and welcoming him to all initiatives that contribute to achieving these targets.
