International Network for Human Rights Monitoring condemns terrorist bombings targeting churches in Egypt

The network stresses that these operations are considered a form of organized terrorism, which is practiced against the Egyptian state and threatens its entity, stability, security and people. It aims to spread terror and instability in the country and to stir up the sectarian strife which is rejected by the Egyptian people.

The Network calls on the Egyptian government to intensify its efforts to confront and combat the phenomenon of terrorism at all local and international levels and to promote respect for the human rights for all , and enforcing the rule of law as the cornerstone of fighting terrorism not only in Egypt but also in all Arab countries, Especially those countries that have been subjected to frequent attacks by terrorist groups that are aimed at stimulating sectarian strife and focusing on the importance of countering extremist and fanatical thought by working with an effective strategy to spread the values of human rights, tolerance and acceptance of others. This requires strengthening and strengthening the role of civil society to carry out this task. As well as the importance of adopting an approach to cultural and educational institutions to work against extremist ideology and renewing religious discourse, leading to the removal of ideas of terrorism, violence and hatred against each other.

The network also calls on the international community, in all its bodies, to work to prosecute the financiers of organized terrorism in the world through effective mechanisms and not only through statements and media statements.
We in the International Network for Human Rights Monitoring strongly condemn this criminal aggression, which is contrary to all divine laws and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, demanding the need to prosecute those involved in these bombings and those behind them who finance their terrorist acts.

The Network also expresses its sincere condolences to the victims of terrorism from the Government and the people of Egypt, especially the Christian brothers and we hope the speedy recovery of the wounded and to achieve justice by eliminating terrorism in all its forms.
