In the Republic of Egypt on the 9th of December an explosion took place in the pyramids area around Al – Salam mosque, three victims were killed and twelve others were injured, the explosion also caused damages to public properties.
In Saudi Arabia, which was subject to many terrorist attacks recently in many scattered areas such as mosques and embassies, another explosion happened on Sunday, the 11th of December, caused by a bomb that was put in a water tank near Al – Dayer province in Jazan, one person was killed and two were injured.
On Saturday December 10th, two terrorist explosions hit Istanbul, Turkey. The first one was a car bomb that exploded near a police car, while the other was a suicidal act, where a terrorist with an explosive belt blew himself at the Besiktas football stadium. The attacks killed 38 victims and left a hundred and fifty-five injuries.
On Friday, December 9th, a car bomb exploded near a park in Homs city in Syria, three victims were killed and others were injured.
After these explosions and terrorist acts, The International Network for Human Rights Monitoring reassures that the terrorist crimes are classified as one of the worst violations of human rights, which obligates nations affected by terrorism to prosecute and investigate firmly and strongly and take the necessary precaution measures to protect the society, without allowing that to lead to violating the basic human rights and freedoms.
The network condemns all the explosions and terrorist acts that targeted Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Syria in the past few days and considers it as organized terrorist crimes that are deplorable and condemnable by all standards of the human rights.
The Network expressed its deep concern for the impact of these terrorist attacks that would affect negatively the stability of the Arab nations during this political turmoil, which can also affect negatively on the international peace and security. The terrorist attacks on civilians Muslims and Christians in the public and religious places in Egypt, Istanbul, Saudi Arabia and Syria, confirm beyond any doubt that terrorism, which is noncompatible with all humane and religious values, has no religion and doesn’t differentiate between a Muslim and a Christian. Its main goal is to kill as much people as it could in regardless of their religion or nationality, it is also working on destroying and dividing the societies. The repetition and spreading of these explosions and terrorist attacks doubles the responsibility on the international community, not only in cooperating and fighting against this phenomenon, but also to work hard to address the crisis and wars that led to the growth an expansion of this disturbing and frightening phenomenon to all countries equally.
The Network calls on behalf of humanity, anyone who supports and finances the terrorist groups to stop participating in the bloodshed. The Network expresses its deepest condolences to the victims’ families and to the people of the targeted countries, wishing the injured victims a fast recovery and hoping that unity, love and tolerance prevail between people to renounce all forms for terrorism.
