Rased International Network for Human Rights Delegation responded to the invitation of the Palestinian Committee for Honoring Martyrs and the Arab Arrangement Institute to attend the opening ceremony of the Heritage Exhibition in the city of Sidon, southern Lebanon. The network delegation included Counselor Khaled Al-Sayed, Engineer Adeeb Zein Al-Din, Mrs. Zahra Assi, Mrs. Rana Houran, and artist Abdullah Al-Sayed.
The Palestinian Committee for Honoring Martyrs, in cooperation with the Arab Arrangement Institute, opened the exhibition (Palestinian Heritage and Handicrafts, the Product of 2016 Sessions) yesterday at the Marouf Saad Center in the city of Sidon. The event was attended by a number of institutions working in the field of heritage and crafts, as well as media professionals, civil society activists, religious figures, politicians, and visitors from the Sidon region, its suburbs, and its Palestinian camps.
The ceremony included the results of heritage and craft courses within an integrated program between the parties organizing the ceremony, aiming to strengthen women and make them productive individuals in society as a relief program for displaced people from Syria and for women in general. The ceremony also displayed Palestinian heritage items that had been collected by the Palestinian heritage historian Mr. Hussam Rashid Miari.
The delegation of the International Network for Human Rights Monitoring confirmed the network’s support for all the issues of just peoples, including the oppressed Palestinian people on earth.
